San Antonio Bachelorette Party Checklist & Tips
Preparing for the Party

The Guest List
Everyone and anyone that the bachelorette is friends with, related to, or works with need to be invited. This includes; Mother, sisters, sister-in-laws, aunts and cousins, future mother-in-law and sister in-laws, friends, all the women that will be participating in the wedding or attending the wedding, close co-workers, and friends that she keeps in touch with on a regular basis.
Even if you have wild strippers scheduled to show at some point during the party, mothers and aunts still should be encouraged to attend. In many cases, they have even more fun than the young, single girls. Remember, a drunk mother with her hands all over a hunk, half naked man is a memory that will last forever (especially with photographic proof.)
The Invitations
Make sure to get out the invites with enough time for people to put it in their schedules. In the summer it is even more important to leave people enough time in advance. Promote the fun things that you will be doing to increase attendance. Let everyone know everything that will be taking place; eating, drinking, strippers, party games, club hoping, etc. That way all the girls will know how to dress.
If it is a "theme" bachelorette party, let all the ladies know how you expect them to come dressed and to act.
You might want to have people RSVP so you have some idea of how many to plan for. Make sure to let everyone know if you will be asking for "donations" to help defray the cost, or to buy a gift.
The Location
Most bachelorette parties take place in someone's house, but the trend is shifting to include halls as well. If the guys can go all out, why not the gals as well. Make sure that if you are using a friends house, or your own, you have some volunteers to help set-up, and then clean up and get everything back in order at the end of the evening.
Hotels are all right if it's the only option and the party is not too big. Make sure that you have a room that is surrounded by other empty rooms to minimize the risk of being kicked out. Nothing wrecks a good party like being kicked to the curb during the best parts.
If you have a limo schedules for the later part of the party, make sure the pick-up spot has enough parking to accommodate all the girls planning on coming. You might also want to set a few places to "crash" in the house for those girls that get a bit carried away with the drinking.
The Food & Beverages
Have everyone attending make a snack or two to bring to the party. You might what to ask people in advance to make specific items so that you know that all the food basics are covered. Keep a list to lessen the risk of having too many of the same thing. Make sure that at least one or two people make cakes or cookies in the standard bachelorette party theme (i.e. penis shaped.)
Wine is by far the most popular bachelorette party drink. Make sure that you have enough to keep people going for the whole evening. Don't spend more than ten dollars a bottle, these days there is a huge selection of good wines that go for less. You may even want to buy "boxed wine" for the end of the evening. Most drinkers won't taste anything by then anyway.
Vodka, gin and rum are big for most mixes. You can go to any grocery store and purchase pre-made mixes that just need the alcohol added. Don't forget to have plenty of Jell-O-shots prepared in advance of the party. They don't go bad and can always be used for another occasion.
Have a bottle of two of Champaign for the ladies that enjoy it, and don't forget to get some of the "hard" lemonade or vodka drinks as well. If your group is one that enjoys beer, get a few different brands to satisfy everyone's taste.
The Entertainment
Have an itinerary for yourself to insure that you have time to do all the things you have on your agenda. Eating, games, sex toy shows, strippers, clubbing, and everything else on the "must do" list.
Many parties hire a sex toy company to add to the entertainment of the evening and to help the bachelorette to stock up on the items she'll need to get through the marriage. Check out this list for help in finding the right company to do your party.
There are many different types of games that you can play at a bachelor party. See our store for a large selection of products that will make your party a blast.
Of course, for any party to be considered a "real" success, there needs to be a stripper or two. From nice to naughty, make sure that you chose the right level of show for your party.
Should he go nude, just down to a G-string, or a for-her-eyes-only show? Will it be a surprise costume, or will you have him come dressed in theme? All these options should be considered when ordering your entertainment.
The Day of Party
Make sure that everyone tasked in helping with setup knows what time to arrive to the party location. Make sure if you have a limo or bus reserved, strippers, sex toy hostesses, or a caterer, that everything has been confirmed.
Be sure to arrange designated drivers, and sleeping accommodations for those who might have too much to drink. If you are hosting the party in a hotel, make sure that someone checks in at the proper time to avoid losing the room.
